Oh thank god I somehow stumbled onto this page. Understanding the u0026quot mag switch u0026quot

I've been trying all morning to get this to work, and I'm pleased to say that this worked for me too! This worked like a charm. Start the game while you are disconnected from the internet! The installation files are three bin files and installation exe, I tried running intsaller as admin, but that didn't help.Home Discussions Workshop Market Broadcasts.Ĭhange language. I didn't have the chance to try everything, but it is installed in separate folder. Mine has been doing that as well for all stalker posts. Draescan View Profile View Posts.ĭead Air is standalone, don't install it on top of anything. Also delete the old files for the game before reinstalling to the same location so nothings left over. I think last I saw dead air installer was broken up into 3 parts?ĭouble check you have them all and check the installation guide again. This is a more common mistake than one might think due to things like 7zip saving file locations for default unpacking. No other installation on any of the games would affect each other, unless you accidentally installed one to the exact same folder by accident and game files got mixed together. I have Call of Chernobyl installed too, could it be conflicting with it? Crash as soon as you hit start, definitely sounds like you're missing game files, or somethings wrong with the installation. It crashes imediatly after presing to start the game doesn't even try to load. I tried different directx versions of directx. That's been a staple issue with crashes for alot of people. Try lowering the directx version being used before starting the game. The game files for dead air don't come unpacked by default, which is why you aren't seeing the gamedata folder most likely. IDK maybe I need to run the installer in "run as administrator" mode? I installed in a separate Dead Air folder via installer. Anyway, you won't find a gamedata folder, cause as in vanilla game, it's saved in one certain file which you need to extract. How did you installed it? To a separate folder? It is standalone mod, it don't need anything else, only it's own folder. Also I noticed that there is no gamedata folder in main dir. But it allways crashes when I want to start a new game.
